Our First Seaplane!

Restoration has begun on our Aeronca C-3!! This is a veritable time capsule that has been suspended in animation for over 50 years. We are so excited to have this aircraft as part of our collection!

To help us move forward, we need donations so we can continue work on this historical treasure. A few areas funds will be directed in are covering, propeller purchase and engine overhaul (most engine work is done but still some left to go).

There has already been a list of companies that have donated their services in the restoration on this beauty and we'd like to thank them. Bolduc Aviation Specialized Services, Inc from Blaine, Minnesota for the overhaul and return to service of four Continental A-50 cylinders. Savage Magneto Services, Inc out of Hayward, California for the overhaul of a Bendix SF-4 magneto. Crankcase Services, Inc in Sand Springs, Oklahoma for the complete overhaul of our Continental A-50 crankcase. Rockler Woodworking in Portland, Maine donated maple lumber for the wing spar doubler plates. Also, Aircraft Specialties Services, Inc from Tulsa, Oklahoma for the inspection and overhaul of all the steel parts in the A-50 Continental for our Aeronca C-3.

A big thank you to these companies that have given so this dream can live.
